Founded to promote agriculture and commerce, the VP organization currently produces an annual parade on the Fourth of July. They also host one of St. Louis’ most elegant Balls each December, which serves as a venue for introducing young ladies, generally in their sophomore year of college, to the St. Louis Community. (A complete list of Participants in enclosed). Besides the parade and Ball, the Veiled Prophet Organization has also begun a Community Initiative. The mission of this initiative is to involve the many resources of The Veiled Prophet organization in projects that will provide a permanent benefit to the St. Louis Community. These have included construction of several playgrounds and Habitat for Humanity Houses. This past summer there was 100% participation among the young women being honored now, all of whom served as part of the construction crew which built a house for Habitat for Humanity. The house was located in the Hillsdale area. For more information about the Veiled Profit Ball, please contact Dennis Reagan at 314-361-1900.
