Lutheran Family & Children's Services "A Touch of Glass" On Saturday, April 29, 2006 Lutheran Family and Children's Services held their "A Touch of Glass" event at the Third Degree Glass Factory on Delmar. Guests enjoyed cocktails and appetizers as they mingled amoung all the beautiful glass pieces up for bids in the silent auction. At 8:00 pm a wonderful buffet dinner was served. Each guest paid $60.00 per person for the event with all the proceeds going to Lutheran Family Children's Services foster care and adoption programs. To support the physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual development of children, Lutheran Family and Children's Services provides a full range of programs to the community. These include infant adoption, international, independent and special needs adoption services, foster care, expectant parent counseling and birth parent services, which offer a comprehensive program of services for women who have used LFCS' parent counseling services. "These are times of challenge and opportunity as we seek to serve those in the greatest need. I thank God for the thousands of Missourians who support the work of Lutheran Family and Children's Services of Missouri.
