Kids In the Middle's BugabaLinks
Kids In the Middle’s BugabaLinks 2008 took palce on Monday morning, August 18, Golfers enjoyed 18 holes of golf with carts, a long drive clinic, lunch and dinner, and an open bar after the game. It was a great opportunity to play on one of the best courses in the state, do some networking, and support a great agency at the same time.
Kids In the Middle strengthens family relationships by providing quality, affordable therapy, education and support to children and families coping with divorce and other transitions. We are proud to be the primary resource for families experiencing difficult and challenging family transitions in the St. Louis area.
In 1977 a young, energetic social worker named Kim Long started Kids In the Middle® after discovering that children of divorce adjusted much better when they were able to share their grief and feelings with other children in small groups. Kids In the Middle® incorporated in 1979 as a not-for-profit organization, and continued to expand our individual, family and group counseling services. Currently we serve over 1,400 children and their families per year at our Kirkwood location, in 20 local schools and through the family court system. We have grown to a staff of 25 committed professionals. Kids In the Middle® also provides community education throughout the year and runs several court programs for families in transition. Throughout our 30-year history, we have maintained our strong commitment to children experiencing grief and loss related to separation and divorce. It is because of our dedicated staff and contributors that we have been able to help thousands of families.
