Chefs' Night Out VIII
The Saint Louis Club in the Pierre Laclede Center, in cooperation with Club Management Magazine and the St. Louis Chapter, Club Managers Association of America, presented the showcase dinner and auction, “Chef’s Night Out.”
The gourmet adventure featured food prepared by the chefs of 18 of St. Louis’ finest private clubs and restaurants. Edgewood Children’s Center was the recipient of the funds raised on Monday, April 14, 2003. Guests paid $110 per person to sample this outstanding fare.
Chefs include Pierre Chambrin - Saint Louis Club, John V. Kennealy - Noonday Club, Alan Hellyer -Missouri Athletic Club, Eddie Neill - Malmaison & Café Provencal, Lou Rook - Annie Gunn’s, Craig Meyer – Algonquin Golf Club, John E. Bogacki & Don Grace – Westwood Country Club, Chris Desens – Racquet Club Ladue, Gregory Mosberger – Gregory’s Creative Cuisine, Inc., Paul Kampff – The Country Club at St. Albans, Lisa Slay – Blue Water Grill, Brian Menzel – B. Tomas, Aidan Murphy – Old Warson Country Club, Dave Rook – Aqua Vin Restaurant, Rich Kraus – Meadowbrook Country Club, Brian Hale – Monarch Restaurant, Gary Suarez – University Club, Neka Soissons – White Crow Productions/World Café.
The elegant cuisine was accompanied by wines selected by Anthony Bommarito of A. Bommarito Wine Company. Cigars were provided by Gerard Ezvan of F&K Cigar Company/Jon’s Pipe Shop.
Edgewood Children’s Center, founded in 1834, is the oldest children’s institution west of the Mississippi, serving severely emotionally disturbed children between the ages of 3 and 17.
